Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is a tool to help people gain self-knowledge and to attain more fulfillment from their lives. It is also a way to treat psychological conditions such as depression and anxiety. Psychotherapy helps to identify underlying patterns and behaviors that may contribute to problematic aspects of one’s life as well as providing a safe space to explore thoughts and feelings, dreams and memories, and to gain insight and self-awareness.
