Are you depressed or anxious? Do you suffer from panic attacks? Perhaps you feel your life is in crisis, or you have reached your breaking point. If you are uncertain whether these terms apply to you, click here to learn more. Psychotherapy and/or medications can help you.

Perhaps you are not in crisis, but you feel dissatisfied or unfulfilled in your life. Maybe you've found yourself in yet another disappointing relationship or haven't managed to advance in your career as much as you'd hoped. Perhaps you just feel stuck, and life is not what you had imagined. You may think that because you are not clinically depressed, a psychiatrist wouldn't be able to help. In fact, exploring all parts of the mind, particularly those of which you are not consciously aware, can help you to overcome these obstacles and find a more gratifying life path.

Each person is unique, and treatments are tailored to the individual. After we meet for an initial assessment, I will make a treatment recommendation based on your needs and treatment goals. Treatments may consist of psychotherapy alone, medication, or a combination of the two. I will also tailor the style and intensity of the psychotherapy to your individual needs and goals. I use principles of exploratory or psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
